Introduction toQuantum Computing

A live course for anyone curious about quantum. No research background, no prior knowledge needed.

8 live sessions
Students collaborating during a live QuantumX session

Introduction to Quantum Computing is QuantumX School’s quantum computing course for beginners: a live, cohort-based programme of 8 weekend sessions over one month. You’ll go from your first qubit to quantum logic, gates, and circuits, using the same open-source tools working researchers use: Qiskit, Cirq, and QuTiP.

No physics prerequisite. No math beyond basic algebra. Just a real, working foundation in quantum computing, not a surface-level overview.

Do I need any prior knowledge of quantum computing to join?

No prior knowledge is required. The course starts from the fundamentals — qubits and quantum logic — and builds toward real-world applications and the future scope of quantum computing.

What will I learn by the end of the course?

You'll understand the basic principles of quantum computing, gain clarity on qubits and quantum logic, build a foundational understanding of how quantum systems work, explore real-world applications, and have the confidence to keep learning advanced topics.

How long is the course and what's the schedule?

It's a 1-month, live, cohort-based course delivered virtually across 8 weekend sessions, so it fits alongside school, college, or work.

What's included with the Introduction to Quantum Computing course?

A certificate of completion, access to a closed Discord community, recordings of every session, assignments with live doubt-clearing, and a dedicated platform for notes and resources.

What happens if I can't attend a live session?
